Drake, Quavo, Justin Bieber and others Put In Ball Work Before The Celebrity Game
Among the many events scheduled for the Chicago NBA All Star Weekend is the annual All Star Celebrity game - as a staple for years and hip hop's close ties to ball, many in the industry are getting in extra practice so as to not shade themselves during their game.
While the All Star Celebrity Game hosts stars from across film, TV, music and otherwise, a returning name will be last years MVP Quavo - and recently he was seen training with none other than Drake, Justin Bieber, DJ Clue, Sheck Wes and others.
Thanks to Chris Brickley (whom has a habit of hosting the best pickup games), there's now footage of some of A-Squad's training and what their competition has to look forward to.
With the game set for February 14th, Quavo is hoping for another MVP victory, but he has stiff competition. Quentin Richardson is among the many opponents, however Quavo will be on Stephen A Smith's team captained by Chance the Rapper. He'll have the backup of A'ja Wilson, Darius Miles, Taylor Bennett, actor LaRoyce Hawkins, Anthony "Spice" Adams, Ronnie 2K, Milwaukee Bucks co-owner Marc Lasry, gymnast Katelyn Ohashi, and Lil Rel Howery.
Michael Wilbon's team will consist of Famous Los, Bad Bunny, Chelsea Gray, Quentin Richardson, Hannibal Buress, Kane Brown, Jon Batiste, Jidenna, Saturday Night Live comedian Alex Moffat, Chef Jose Andres and be captained by Common.
