Mother of Rae Sremmurd Confirms Schizophrenic Son Murdered Step Father
An official statement from Rae Sremmurd will be coming today, but bless up for them and their family. It's a rough time for anyone to lose a family member. Slim Jxmmi and Swae Lee have mourned the death of their step-father Floyd Sullivan in private. Michael Sullivan, their 19 year old brother at this time has been arrested.
TMZ has shared that they've already spoken with the mother Bernadette Walker, whom stated that Michael regrettably suffers from Schizoaffective, a relative of Schizophrenia.
Symptoms can include but are not limited to mania, hallucinations, and depression.
Michael had been residing at home in ATL until November of 2019 - Bernadette noticed his mood was shifting, with anger present when he didn't take his medication. Shortly after, Michael moved to Mississippi with their stepfather. The boys mother doesn't know what would drive him to murder Floyd Sullivan, but it's clear to her that Michael needed his medication and the death may have been a result from one of his bouts of anger.
Before charges are handed down, Michael will undergo a full psychiatric evaluation before charges are handed down. While the family has undergone quite a bit at this time, we send our very best to the entire Rae Sremmurd fam.
