Tekashi 6ix9ine's New Haircut Is Even More Insane Than His Last
Tekashi 6ix 9ine's next big look has been revealed and the rainbow rapper seems as though he's going even further down the path to freakdom than before. While wigs are generally reserved for ladies, Tekashi is no stranger to social norms and will be sporting a red-rainbow and gold-metallic colorway.
While at first Tekashi was opposed to wearing a lace-front wig, after trying on a few different styles there was no going back. Tekashi is working with Jonathan Wright, whom has worked with Megan thee Stallion for a style similar but different to Nicki Minaj and Cardi B for 69.
Speaking on the rapper's next work, Wright revealed that Tekashi's next look may be revealed as early as the "Yaya" release.
"I’m actually on my way to him this evening for his next look," said Wright to Page Six. "I might do a half-and-half: a red rainbow and a full gold metallic look. I’d like to try to push the buttons."
While detailing the new looks, Wright explained that at first Tekashi was completely against the new vibe, but after seeing several stylists at work, he had to have it.
"Tekashi was sitting there and I looked at him I said, ‘I’m putting a wig on you.’ And he said, ‘Boy, stop, you ain’t putting a wig on me.’ And that was the day, I believe, when he shot ‘Trollz’ with Nicki [Minaj]," said Wright. "The next day, I tried the slime-green-and-purple wig on him. I told him, ‘I promise, you will look like a rock star.’"
